SCANNING : We begin by scanning the artwork into
the computer using our Epson Expression Art Scanner to create a digital file.
SCAN COST: Scan cost covers the actual scan of the image as well as computer time to stitch multiple scans together in Photoshop, and test print to match the original. Call for pricing.
QUALITY : We strive to reproduce the colors, contrasts, highlights, shadows, textures and details of your original artwork. This process requires time and in some cases many test prints. Therefore, additional charges may be applied depending on the detail of the image and the specific requirements of the artist.
PRINTING : ALL PRINTS ARE ARCHIVAL / GICLEE*
We use the Epson 9800 Wide Format Printer to reproduce artwork on several types of media:
|
CANVAS
|
ULTRA SMOOTH FINE ART
|
TEXTURED FINE ART
|
TREATED CANVAS: We recommend treating all canvas prints with a UV protective coating for enhanced ultraviolet durability and to reduce the affects of damaging chemicals and abrasives.
MOUNTING: Canvases can be stretched or dry mounted by our framers.
FINE ART PAPER: choose smooth or textured surface / great for watercolor, pencil & chalk drawings
All Epson prints are created through a process known as "giclee" which means "nozzle" and "to spray". The ink is literally sprayed onto the paper. The Epson 9800 uses pigmented ink, the longest lasting ink available.
After your prints have been beautifully reproduced at our Photoshop, consider having them dry mounted, matted and framed at Roby's Custom Framing NOW LOCATED IN THE PHOTOSHOP!
